THE VIKING DECO STORY
The year is 1991, the location, a small highveld town called Volksrust, Mpumalanga. Armed with a degree in agricultural science, Piet Lund sets out, hopeful to start a life with his family as a farmer. To make ends meet, Piet starts building wooden furniture in the garage on the farm he was renting at the time. Little did he know what would then become known as “DIE HOUTERY” was the start of an exciting and eventful career in the wooden and alumimium manufacturing industry.
In 2018, Piet and his wife Jeanne made the decision to follow their dreams, to live in Cape Town. It was decided to move the entire company down with them.
